EARTH AFRICA supports over 1000 impoverished women from rural villages across South Africa. African Beadwork empowers these women who, without any formal education, have little chance of gaining meaningful employment. Working directly from their villages allows these women to produce their beadwork while still attending to their children, livestock, and subsistence crops. This enables them to support themselves and their families while sharing an authentic part of Africa’s culture with the world.
